I'm a professor at Mount Royal University where I teach a wide range of courses and direct the Women's and Gender Studies Program. As part of that work, I started researching the people, places, and politics of Calgary's consensual adult sex industry. And since one of my favourite things to do in any city -- including the one I live in -- is to take themed walking tours, I know you won't be able to resist coming along with me to learn what I've discovered about the people and places of Calgary's historic sex trade!

In celebration of our canine friends (because why go on a walking tour if you can't bring your dog?), we welcome friendly, on-leash dogs. But please be sure that your buddy is urban savvy in terms of sounds, traffic, humans, and other dogs. High value treats will help. And, of course, be ready to scoop the poop! Miss Cricket will help set a good example.
